Previously I had cleaned up the MG Bs front shock absorbers, you can see that here. Now I move on to the rears and clean them up, drain and refill the oil in them.
Still working on the MG’s front suspension and steering. I pull apart the calipers and kingpins, but had to stop short since I was missing a socket big enough to remove the wheel bearings.
Trying to keep the project rolling forward, I’m just cleaning up and painting some more of the suspension
In this episode I take apart the MG’s shocks, give them a good cleaning, some new oil and a paint job.

The teardown is now all but complete. This week I pull off all the wheels and suspension.
With the gas tank off I figure it’s a good time to swap out my other leaf spring.
